The Team management has announced today that The Wicket-Keeper Batsmen Rishabh Pant Replaces Injured Shreyas Iyer As a Captain for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2021.
DC Skipper Shreyas Iyer has been ruled out because of injury. Iyer got injured during the ODI series against England.
Shreyas Iyer’s absence will be a big blow to the team but it could be a great opportunity for the 23 years old wicket-keeper batsmen. He has a chance to win an IPL and make a record in the IPL history.
Pant can be the youngest Captain to lift IPL Title if he manages to win the IPL 2021. Rohit Sharma is currently holding the record of youngest captain to win the Indian Premier League Cup.
