This season Indian Premier League will be played in India (Mumbai and Pune) and 25% seat occupancy will be allowed.
IPL 2020 and a half matches of IPL 2021 were played in UAE because of COVID-19.
Along with two new IPL teams, the number of matches has been increased to 70 matches.
The excitement level is high for all fans.

IPL Schedule 2022 [IPL Date, Time and Fixtures]
Instead of 8 teams, 10 teams will participate in IPL 15th Edition. Two new teams have been included. Lucknow and Ahmedabad are the two new IPL teams.
The number of matches has been increased to 74. 60 matches were played in the previous season of IPL.
KL Rahul will lead Lucknow Super Giants and Hardik Pandya will lead Ahmedabad.
Whether fans will be allowed or now?
25% of the seat occupancy will be allowed initially and this decision can be changed later on.
