Satya Pal Malik governor of J&K is Strongly Advocating to form an IPL team for the State and for the same he also had been an interaction with Rajiv Shukla the IPL Commissioner, on this topic.

The T20 format of games has been the most popular across the state among both boys and girls. The main aim is to find the talented players, nurture and launch the best cricketing talent from the state.

 

Focus is to Have J&K’s Own IPL Team

 

“There are plans for both cricket and football team but currently we are focusing on the IPL team, We have a plan to have J&K to have its own IPL team.” said the governor of J&K.

 

The state has great talent and when nurture with an aim, state people can play cricket to football and from martial arts to boxing. The government of J&K is confident for the same.

 

BCCI is working on a project to provide world-class training and facilities to players from the state.

 

J&K has Tremendous Cricketing Talent Says an Official

 

Rajiv Shukla has assured the governor that the players from the state will get the best opportunities to work and improve on their skills.

 

A project close to the sports minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore khelo India initiative, where budding cricketers selected as part of this initiative. And the moto was to nurture and improve the cricketing skills.

 

Women T20 has Done Extremely Well in the State

 

The women T20 matches at the Bakshi stadium are extremely popular. T20 for women’s has done extremely well in the state. In the khelo India initiative, 3000 players from the 10 different district of the state have got opportunities to play cricket.

 

The budding cricketers have shown there immense interest on the game, during the hartal, bandh and curfew also the youngster has reached the stadium to play the game and often leave their homes.

 

In October 1983 India-West Indies match at Sher-e-Kashmir stadium in Srinagar since than,  the valley has come a long way. The valley has lost three decades of sporting opportunities because of politics. Now the aim is to play the game for the country and for self-development.

And Manzoor Ahmed Dar called as Jadeja of J&K. This guy has an inspiring story, he uses to work through the night to play at the day.

 

The J&K has a lot of talent but it only needs to be nurtured.
