Asia Cup 2018: India Won Rohit Sharma and Jadeja Banged Bangladesh

India Won the Match Against Bangladesh Asia Cup 2018

 

The India Skipper strong performance and returning Ravindra Jadeja Bowling performance thrashed Bangladesh and helped India to win by 7 wickets, where Bangladesh scored a total of 173  in Super 4 match Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai on Friday.

Shikhar Dhawan gave a good partnership to Rohit Sharma and gave India a perfect start, where Shikhar has scored 47 runs in 40 balls till the time Rohit had scored his 36 ODI fifth, at the Dubai International Stadium.

 

Bangladesh pacers were easily handled by Shikhar, But he got jacked by the experienced Shakib Al Hasan in front of the stumps

 

Rohit still continued very well after the dismissal of Dhawan, then he partnered with Ambati Rayadu who scored 13 runs and got out and rest the partnerships was with MS Dhoni.

 

MS Dhoni was Promoted Up the Batting Order

 

Dhoni came to bat after Rayadu’s dismissal, he was promoted up the batting order and initially, his start was slow but later on the former world cup winning captain grew in confidence as the game progressed.

 

Rohit Sharma was the Star of Indian Chase

 

He finished his innings on an unbeaten 83, including 5 fours and 3 sixes, he blasted the Bangladeshi bowlers all around the field. The India skipper undoubtedly was the star of the Indian chase.

 

In this tournament, it was the second consecutive fifty-plus score for Rohit. Before the former Indian captain gave his wicket away towards the end, Rohit and MS Dhoni shared a 64 runs stand.

 

Ravindra Jadega Help India to Dismiss Bangladesh for 173

 

The return of Ravindra Jadeja after 1.5 long years and proving himself by taking 4 wickets all alone for the team has helped India to dismiss Bangladesh for 173 runs.

 

The all-rounder playing for the team since July 2017, broke the strength of Bangladesh batting with his perfect left-arm spin and ended with the amazing result of four wickets 29 balls in 10 overs.

 

Bangladesh Lost Second Game Consecutively

 

Bangladesh who has lost a game against Afghanistan on Thursday night which was less than 24 hours of a gap.  And then again got smashed by Team India.

 

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah too made it difficult for the Bangladesh Squads to perform well. Where they took (3/32) and (3/37) respectively.

 

A little bit light in their team was the 66 runs stand eight wickets between Mehidy Hasan Miraz 42 off 500 and Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza 26 off 32 before the team was all out in 49.1 overs.

 

By the sixth over they lost their openers Liton Das (7) and Nazmul Hossain Shanto (7).

 

The experienced Pairing Shakib Al Hasan (21) and Musafir Rahim had a task of rebuilding the game but then Jadeja could not let it happen. Their team could not stand in front of Indian bowlers and made a total of 173 runs.

 

And as a result, India won the match by 8 wickets.

 

India will play their next super four games against Pakistan on Sunday, 23 September.
