Deepak Chahar Replaced Injured Hardik Pandya, Jadeja comes in for Axar
The Injured Hardik Pandya has got ruled out of Asia Cup 2018 and the place is replaced by Deepak Chahar for rest of the tournament in the team. Two more players Axar Patel the all-rounder and pacer Shardul Thakur also got ruled out.

Hardik Pandya got Acute Lower Back Pain
The Allrounder Hardik Pandya got injured during the game against Pakistan, he suffered an acute lower back pain during the game after taking a follow up in the fifth over of the fifth ball.
The BCCI medical team is assessing him and he is undergoing medical treatment. He won’t be playing in the rest of the series. BCCI said in a press release,” Deepak Chahar will replace Hardik Pandya in the team.
Axar Patel Injured his left Index Finger
Axar Patel another player who got injured his left index finger while fielding for the team against Pakistan. Later on, he was sent for the examination and went for scans and found tendon tear.
He will not play for rest of the matches in this series. Ravindra Jadeja is replacing his place.
Shardul Thakur got Injured against Hong Kong
After the game against Hong Kong right Arm pacer Shardul Thakur groin and right hip soreness. He won’t be available for the rest of the series. He is replaced by Siddharth Kaul to join the squad.
The three of the players Deepak Chahar, Siddharth Kaul, and Ravindra Jadeja will join the squad on Thursday.
Pandya was Expected to Ruled Out of the Series
It was very much expected that Pandya will be ruled out of the series as during the match of the group A against Pakistan he was stretchered out of the field at Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday.
After falling down in the ground he was carried out off the field during the fifth ball of the fourth over.

Pandya was performing well during the game he was about to send Malik towards the pavilion but the catch was dropped out by wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
And in the very next over Pandya was down in the fifth over and it was not clear what has really happened to him. Immediately he was carried out off the field in the stretcher. Later on, BCCI tweet confirmed he had suffered from an acute lower back pain.
Chahar who has performed very well under Dhoni’s captaincy in IPL while playing for Chennai super king. Hope to see him playing his best in this Asia Cup remaining matches.
